Suitable for Secondary KS4 students, this programme is designed to introduce students to geographical theories and concepts that they may be encountering for the first time or consolidate classroom learning by relating their knowledge and skills to stunning fieldwork locations.
Qualified Skern Lodge tutors will lead fieldwork visits, outdoor games, and classroom workshops that are designed to guide a student’s understanding of the environment and natural processes taking place around them and prepare YR11 students for GCSE exams.
Each day is balanced to provide a rounded experience with an suitable mix of classroom workshops and practical visits to fieldwork locations, independent discovery and teamwork skills, along with important opportunities for social and relaxation time for both visiting staff and students.
