Suitable for KS5 A Level students, this programme is designed to introduce students to fresh fieldwork methods and data collection skills as well as allow them to develop understanding of geographical theory and core concepts at a variety of stunning fieldwork sites.
In addition to practical fieldwork experience, students will undertake best practice workshops for sampling strategies, data presentation, statistical analysis, and more.
Qualified Skern Lodge tutors will lead fieldwork visits and skill workshops that are designed to best prepare a student for exam success and the eventual undertaking of their Independent Investigation NEA.
Each day is balanced to provide a rounded experience with an suitable mix of classroom workshops and practical visits to fieldwork locations, along with important opportunities for social and relaxation time for both visiting staff and students.
